This dataset, named "X-ray and Visible Spectra Circular Motion Images Dataset", was created by the Institute for Information Transmission Problems. It contains 400 images of rotating plastic objects captured under both X-ray and visible spectrum conditions. Each image corresponds to an axial rotation interval of 0.5 degrees. The primary objectives of this dataset are to evaluate the performance of circular motion estimation algorithms and the influence of X-ray data on image analysis algorithms. Additionally, it supports research on the performance of computer vision algorithms across different data modalities by comparing visible light and X-ray images. During the dataset construction, the X-ray image subset was collected using an X-ray microtomography camera at the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, while the visible light image subset was captured with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera. This dataset is mainly utilized for the development of online calibration methods and the evaluation of computer vision techniques on X-ray data.
