Abdullah and Mariam Sa'ade to Katrina Sa'ade, 12 May 1938

The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. In this letter Katrina Sa'ade's parents Abdullah and Mariam write to her inquiring about her son George Farhat (son of her second husband Suleiman Farhat) and his welfare in Ramallah, Palestine. At this stage Katrina had moved back in California, US and Suleiman had moved to Ramallah and was living with their son George and his parents. The Sa'ade family, as noted here, were working hard to get George back to California with his mother. These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
