Data on egg production and average egg weight in cage-free and battery-caged laying hens (CSV)

This dataset contains weekly egg production records from laying hens housed in two different systems: cage-free pens and conventional battery cages. Variables include total egg mass (kg), number of eggs, and calculated average egg weight (g) per treatment and week. The data were collected as part of an experimental study conducted between 2023 and 2024, and are provided to support transparency and reproducibility.
