The GDI-MV is part of the German spatial data infrastructure (GDI-DE) and is part of the European spatial data infrastructure (INSPIRE). This service is used to present the topographic map 1:25 000 in the normal sheet section with the status of 1990-1996. It is operated by the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, State Office for Internal Administration.
