The goal of this study is to investigate the prevalence of benzimidazole resistance mutations in A. caninum populations infecting pet dogs in the USA. PCR amplicons of the A.caninum isotype-1 beta-tubulin gene were sequenced at depth using the Illumina MiSeq platform (V2 chemistry) from hookworm positive fecal samples collected from 328 individual samples and 65 pooled samples across the USA.
