The effect of persimmon on apple rhizosphere fungi microbes

Apple root rot has seriously restricted the development of apple industry. We accidentally found that apple and persimmon intercropping can reduce the occurrence of apple root rot. To clarify the effect of rhizosphere microorganism of apple by persimmon tree, collection the soil of healthy and infecting root rot apple tree, persimmon tree and intercropping. The high-throughput sequencing was performed on the Illumina Miseq platform to analyze the fungi communities in the soil samples.
