Visualization analysis of neonatal nosocomial infection based on CiteSpace

OBJECTIVE To perform a visual analysis of literature related to neonatal nosocomial infection in China in the past ten years.METHODS Search the relevant literature on neonatal hospital infection included in CNKI from 2013 to 2023, use CiteSpace.exe to describe and analyze the basic situation of the effective literature, and perform visual analysis by keywords co-occurrence, keywords clustering and other dimensions to show the evolution and development trends of the entire research field.RESULTS The number of relevant research publications has decreased year by year since 2013. The top ten authors and institutions with the most publications are almost all from Grade III Level A hospitals, but less than half of the documents are published in core journals. The outbreak intensity of "Countermeasures" and "Related Factors" was the highest from 2013 to 2016. The outbreak intensity of "Nursing Management" and "Mechanical Ventilation" was the highest from 2017 to 2020. The focus shifted to "Pathogens" and "Prevention control” and “quality of care” from 2021 to 2023. The keywords cluster analysis mainly focuses on five aspects: the epidemiology of neonatal hospital infections, infectious factors, infection prevention and control measures, nursing quality management, and hospital infection control of premature infants.CONCLUSIONS The prevention and control of nosocomial infections of neonatal multidrug-resistant bacteria become a current research hotspot. Multidisciplinary and multi-center collaborative research on neonates will become a mainstream trend. However, the overall research interest of neonatal nosocomial infections has declined and needs to pay more attention.
