资源简介:
The world that appears. Stories of phenomena (Mimesis, Milan 2011), the recent Romeo Bufalo's book, is a contribution to a sort of counter-history of philosophy, through which the author aims to enhance the sensitive and phenomenal sphere of experience, the becoming, the not-being, the aesthetic aspects; in a word: that historically tradition of Western thought (based on logos, on the One and on Being) has always considered 'marginal'. The main thesis of the book (chapters I-III) is to show that the rationalistic and spiritualistic thoughts has become truly dominant in the history of philosophy only since Descartes, but in greek thought, and still in the Renaissance age, the predominant view sees the rational knowledge as a result that is rooted in the realm of aesthetic knowledge. The last chapters of the book (IV-V) are dedicated to the analysis of some great expressions of modern and contemporary philosophy in which the sensitive and phenomenal aspect is strongly appreciated (in particular: the Kantian criticism and phenomenology, from Husserl to Merleau-Ponty).
