An End-to-End 5G User Plane Positioning System

This contribution addresses an end-to-end 5G user plane positioning system that is aligned with 3GPP Release 19. More precisely, the following pieces of information are included: time measurements for the user plane establishment and release procedures according to 3GPP TS 24.572, as well as for the LPP capabilties procedure that was performed over the control and user plane, a reference to the GitLab repository that contains the target 5G positioning system. Note: The contents are part of the following publication: "Choosing the right Data Plane: Introduction of an End-to-End 5G User Plane Positioning System". The corresponding paper will be submitted to the the 16th International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN 2026, October 05-08 2026).
