Evidence, published in our PLOS One article, that light dulls and darkens bird eggs, tested under controlled conditions in the laboratory. Bluish weaverbird eggs were placed beneath a light source that approximates the color temperature of the sun, and reflectance mesurements were taken between 0 and 108 hours. In this file are three spreadsheets: reflectance data, data for figures, and sample irradiance values.
