Microsatellite data of the fish <i>Umbrina canosai</i> (Sciaenidae) in the Southwestern Atlantic

Microsatellite data of the coastal fish Umbrina canosai in the Southwestern Atlantic, from three regions: 1) Southeastern Brazil (SEB), comprising samples from Niterói (Rio de Janeiro state) and Ilhabela (São Paulo state); 2) Southern Brazil (SB), comprising samples from Rio Grande (Rio Grande do Sul state); and 3) Argentine-Uruguayan Common Fishing Zone (AU), comprising samples from San Clemente del Tuyú, Villa Gesell and Necochea (Buenos Aires province). Samples were obtained from commercial trawl and gillnet fisheries between 2015 and 2019 1. Microsatellite data in genotypes (i.e., fragment size in base pairs), in Genepop format (.txt). Ten loci genotyped. 2. Microsatellite data in genotypes, adjusted by the Oosterhout method of Micro-Checker software, to correct null alleles. Seven loci analyzed. Observation: within each region, the adjusted genotypes are reordered according to allele size, losing the original correspondence between sample number and genotype.
