This boundary is used in the management of watershed-based planning by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA). The Boundary was created using the LSRCA 2002 5-metre Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and provides the best science-based definition available where possible. This boundary is not the jurisdictional boundary of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, and is for the purpose of supporting the Lake Simcoe Protection Act (LSPA).
