Xylaria bambusicola isolate:GMP-LS Genome sequencing and assembly

X. bambusicola, the root and basal stem rot pathogen of Sugarcane results in severe economic losses. X. bambusicola belongs to xylariaceae of ascomycetous fungi characterised by stromatic perithecium bearing ascomata. The genome sequencing will help in identifying the pathogenicity determinants and give a basic idea for the control of this pathogen.
