This dataset focuses on Chinese hydropower stations and reservoirs, containing the names and relevant design parameters of Chinese hydropower stations, as well as detailed information on their corresponding reservoirs, dams, rivers and other associated features. The dataset consists of one Excel spreadsheet and one shapefile. Specifically, GloHydroRes_vs1_china.xlsx serves as the inventory of Chinese hydropower stations, which includes four worksheets: Dataset Overview, Abbreviation Explanation, Attribute Field Description and Actual Data. GloHydroRes_china.shp stores the spatial distribution data based on the locations of these hydropower stations.
