Number of moose felled in Norway 2010-2022

In recent years, the number of moose felled in Norway decreased. In the season of 2010/2011, over 36.4 thousand moose were felled and that number fell to around 29.2 thousand hunted animals in 2021/2022. In the country, moose hunting is a traditional activity. The hunting season varies from region to region in Norway. Normally, it takes place from the end of September to the mid of November. During the moose hunting season of 2019/2020, most were felled in Trøndelag, followed by Hedmark and Nordland.  Moose hunting in Trøndelag      Trøndelag is a county in the central part of Norway. It was split into Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag in recent years but reunited in 2018. During the hunting seasons of 2008/2009 to 2017/18, the number of felled moose was always higher in the county’s northern part than in its southern part. In 2018/2019, there were a total of nearly 8.2 thousand moose hunted down.    Moose hunting in Hedmark  Hedmark borders Trøndelag in the north and belongs to the southeastern part of Norway. Here, the number of felled moose was also high. Over the past hunting seasons, it decreased from almost 8.1 thousand killed animals in 2009/2010 to roughly five thousand moose in the latest season of 2018/2019.

近年来，挪威境内被猎杀的驼鹿数量呈现下降趋势。在2010/2011年度，猎杀的驼鹿数量超过36.4万头，而到了2021/2022年度，这一数字下降至约29.2千头。在国家层面，驼鹿狩猎是一项传统活动。挪威各地狩猎季节的起始时间各有不同，通常从九月末至十一月中旬。在2019/2020年度的狩猎季节中，特伦德拉格地区猎杀的驼鹿数量最多，其次是赫德马克和诺德兰。特伦德拉格地区的驼鹿狩猎（Trøndelag）位于挪威中部，近年来虽然一度分为北特伦德拉格和南特伦德拉格，但在2018年又重新合并。在2008/2009至2017/18年度的狩猎季节中，该地区北部猎杀的驼鹿数量始终高于南部。2018/2019年度，猎杀的驼鹿总数接近8.2千头。赫德马克地区的驼鹿狩猎（Hedmark）与特伦德拉格接壤，位于挪威东南部。在此地区，猎杀的驼鹿数量也曾经较高，在过去的狩猎季节中，从2009/2010年度的近8.1千头降至2018/2019年度的最新季节的约五千头。
