Modified version of the 'Desikan-Killiany' human cortical atlas

We provide a modified version of the "Desikan-Killiany" human cortical atlas. The atlas is accompanied by a lookup table displaying the atlas labels and corresponding brain regions. The corresponding abbreviations and cortical regions are detailed in the table provided below.

This version is intended to match that of the chimpanzee cortical atlas "DAVI130" ( Vickery S. et al. 2020 Chimpanzee brain morphometry utilizing standardized MRI preprocessing and macroanatomical annotations. Elife. doi: 10.7554/eLife.60136. PMID: 33226338; PMCID: PMC7723405.).

The Desikan atlas was redefined with the aim to compare human and chimpanzee brains. It was re-delineated with 76 brain areas matching the DAVI130 chimpanzee atlas.
