We found Nlrp12 ko mice are more prone to high fat diet (HFD) induced obesity process. And this expedited obesity is affected by commensal bacterial composition. When cohoused WT and Nlrp12 ko mice during the HFD, we found the difference of obesity is comparable between the cohoused cage mates.
