资源简介:
It is known that one of the most important factors affecting the success of endodontic treatment is the elimination of microorganisms and toxic by-products from the root canal system . Usually, there is more than one microorganism in endodontic infections. The microorganisms found in unsuccessful root canal treatment cases and the microorganisms that play a role in primary endodontic infections are different from each other . Gram-negative, black-pigmented anaerobic bacteria are responsible for primary endodontic infections, while gram-positive steptococci, especially E. feacalis and C. albicans, are responsible for unsuccessful root canal treatments or persistent endodontic infection. All test solutions were found to be successful when compared with sterile distilled water used as a control group. It was also observed that solutions containing chlorhexidine gluconate formed a wider antimicrobial area. It was suggested that the use of these irrigation solutions in the clinic will increase the success of root canal treatment, but it should not be forgotten that these values obtained by direct contact will differ considering the complex structure of root canal anatomy and dentin tissue.
