Selected data analyzed in the JGR Atmospheres manuscript "Modification of microphysical parameterization schemes and their application in the simulation of an extremely heavy rainfall event in Zhengzhou"

These are simulation results of an extremely heavy rainfall event that occurred in Zhengzhou Henan province during 19-21 July 2021 by the WRF model. The dataset includes the simulated precipitation, radar reflectivity, wind field, mixing ratio of hydrometeors by the original and modified Morrison microphysical schemes, as well as the averaged results of rain mixing ratio, number concentration, mean mass diameter, and microphysical production rates related to rain mass and number concentration.
