The PPARγ2 promoter maximally interacts with adipokine and perilipin gene promoters in 3T3-L1 cells 6 hours post-differentiation. 3C interaction frequencies between PPARγ2 and the indicated promoters that were presented in Figure 1 were re-calculated based on normalization to interaction frequencies measured in a gene desert region on chromosome 3 [36] instead of to interaction frequencies measured at the TFIIH locus. Results indicate the average of three independent experiments +/− standard deviation. Values for the timepoint of maximum interaction frequency (6 h) were compared to values at time 0 by one-tailed t-test. ***p<0.001.
