p-Phenoxyphenol (PhOP) and p-pentyloxyphenol (PeOP) have been reported to be estrogenic in vitro. But their in vivo estrogenic activities have rarely been of concern. In this study, we performed an immature mouse uterotrophic assay and next-generation transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) to study the estrogenicity of PhOP and PeOP, as well as E2. Overall design: Uteri Gene expression of female CD-1 mice aged 24 postnatal days were measured after 3 consecutive days gavaging with with 3 and 30 mg/kg bw/d PhOP and PeOP and 0.4 mg/kg bw/d E2,respectively.
