Dataset for Multi Parameter Physical and Dielectric Characterisation of the Sabarmati River

This dataset contains the experimental data generated during the study "Multi-Parameter Physical and Dielectric Characterisation of the Sabarmati River". Water samples were collected from eight locations along the Sabarmati River, Gujarat, India, together with a distilled water reference sample. The dataset includes physicochemical parameters (electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, density, viscosity, and refractive index), ultrasonic properties (ultrasonic velocity, acoustic impedance, adiabatic compressibility, and intermolecular free length), and frequency-dependent dielectric measurements obtained over the frequency range 20 Hz–2 MHz. Dielectric parameters include relative permittivity (ε′), dielectric loss (ε″), AC conductivity (σ′ and σ″), impedance components (Z′ and Z″), and loss tangent (tan δ). The dataset supports all figures, tables, and analyses presented in the associated manuscript and is provided to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and further research on river water quality assessment using physical and dielectric characterization techniques.
