The study aims to investigate functional activities of soil microbial communities surrounding wheat crops that are associated with higher yields. Two wheat fields were sampled for bulk and rhizosphere soil at three different wheat growth and development stages (March, June and July 2017). We used 16S rRNA sequencing to identify and compare bacteria present in these soil samples.
