With school operational assistance or boss funds from the government, it is hoped that schools that receive this assistance should be able to manage and use it according to the needs that need to be met, such as developing school facilities/infrastructure aimed at making student learning activities more optimal due to complete support. the school facilities. If these types of facilities need to be developed, if they are still lacking, damaged or don't have them at all, the school can develop facilities in the form of a computer lab and its components, repairs to classrooms, tables, chairs, etc. that students need for learning activities. This research also aims to look at the role of the Semarang City Education Office in handling junior high schools in the city of Semarang in implementing government programs in the form of operational funding channels for the school's needs. Apart from that, this research also looks at how schools manage the aid funds from the government that are delivered. by the Department of Education whether it is used to meet these needs. This research uses empirical methods by collecting primary data by conducting interviews with staff from the Education and Culture Department of Semarang City, Central Java. Secondary data collection in this research was obtained through books, articles and scientific journals. The data that has been obtained is analyzed qualitatively from data through interviews and literature studies which are then displayed in narrative form.
