Astemizole: Acute Effects on Cardiovascular Functions Following Oral Administration in Conscious, Telemetered Cynomolgus Monkeys (Macaca fascicularis)

N=4 male Conscious telemetered Cynomolgus monkeys, dosed with astemizole at 3, 10 and 30 mg/kg ? successively per os. No PK phase. Parameters: haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR), lead II ECG (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB, QTcA and QTcF), body temperature (C?). Parameters were recorded approximately 1.5 hours before administration then at 0.5,1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 24 hours after dosing.
