Financial accounts

The financial accounts show the values of the stocks and transactions, value and exchange adjustments and other changes in financial assets and liabilities of institutional sectors, broken down by sector and financial instruments. These are financial statistics data, closely linked to national accounts statistics, measuring the financial value of the whole economy and parts thereof, quantifying changes in these values and inter-sectoral relationships due to net lending/borrowing between them.
