Chromosome-scale assembly and annotation of the wild wheat relative tetraploid Elymus species

In this study, we report the the chromosome-scale reference assembly of tetraploid Elymus accession RM001946, generated based on PacBio HiFi reads and chromosome conformation capture data. The final assembly comprises 7.654 Gb with a contig N50 reaching 119.3873 Mb. A total of 80,109 high confidence protein-coding genes were predicted, and repetitive sequences were found to account for 76.89% of the genome.
