This dataset contains approximately 10,000 images, which showcase various viewpoints of 144 objects under different poses. These images are captured by an RGBD sensor mounted on a robotic manipulator. Furthermore, this dataset enables the exploration of the impact of camera poses on object recognition performance. The task associated with this dataset is semantic viewpoint selection for object recognition.
