This dataset contains the trimmed nucleotide sequence and feature annotation table for the Escherichia coli otsB_mutant promoter sequence used in the manuscript “cAMP receptor protein (CRP) negatively regulates trehalose biosynthesis in Escherichia coli through the otsB promoter”. The sequence corresponds to a mutated otsB promoter region containing a site-directed mutation in the CRP-binding site.
