Identifying ovarian cancer populations associated with poor prognosis

This study integrated and classified ovarian cancer cells from different patients based on their gene expression level, identifying populations associated with poor prognosis. We revealed the properties of the populations by analyzing cell cycle, copy number variations, and pseudotime. In particular, one of the populations interacted with myeloid cells and was related to the suppression of CTL migration to the tumor. Our work suggests that the population of cancer cells secreting exosomes is associated with poor prognosis in patients with high-grade serous carcinoma.
