Sluice and pumping station monitoring on the coast of Lower Saxony – Maadesiel

Discharge data at the sluice and lock of sluice and pumpingstation Maadesiel. Maadesiel runs the inland drainage system of an area about 130 square kilometers near city of Wilhelmshaven. To model future impacts of climate change and create adaptation strategies of the drainage system, discharge data from the drainage Areas are crucial to calibrate and validate hydrological models. This Dataset can be used as a basis for hydrological modeling in the coastal Areas of lower saxony.
