Delete (Incorrect Upload)

The dataset includes three .csv files containing georeferenced occurrence points of Tithonia diversifolia in WGS84 CRS (EPSG:4326), compiled from multiple sources. Occurrence data were obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF; www.gbif.org, accessed April 15, 2025), iNaturalist (www.inaturalist.org, accessed April 15, 2025), and the Center for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI; www.cabi.org, accessed April 15, 2025). Additional records were retrieved through literature searches in Web of Science (WOS) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) using the keywords Tithonia diversifolia and Mirasolia diversifolia up to April 2025. Data cleaning involved removing duplicates, zero values, and invalid coordinates. The R package CoordinateCleaner was applied to exclude erroneous records, such as those from greenhouses, museums, or water bodies. Ten local occurrences from Guangdong Province, China, were also added and retained after spatial thinning and quality control. In total, 13,660 occurrence records were compiled, distributed as follows: 4,442 from Africa, 3,536 from North America, 2,925 from Asia, 2,010 from South America, 593 from Oceania, and 154 from Europe. To reduce spatial clustering caused by survey bias, occurrences were filtered at a spatial resolution of 5 arcmin using the SDM Toolbox v2.5 plug-in in ArcMap, consistent with the climate data resolution used in this study. After thinning, 4,337 high-quality records were retained, including 845 from the species’ native range and 3,492 from its invasive range.
