The strain is collected from the abalone culture base in the sea area of Rongcheng, Shandong Province, China. After optimization of fermentation conditions, the yield of exopolysaccharide was very high. The aim of whole genome sequencing is to obtain the genetic background information of the bacterium, so as to further study the key genes in the sugar metabolism pathway of the bacterium. The functional element of the bacterium is further obtained, used for analysis of protein coding genes, subsystem analysis and function annotation, high-value polysaccharide is efficiently synthesized in a modular mode through metabolic engineering transformation, and the polysaccharide is used in industries such as medical treatment, industry and the like.
