Lower-Limb Joint-Angle and Coupling-Angle Time-Series Dataset for Maximal Successful Snatch Attempts

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Lower Limb Interjoint Coordination in Maximal Successful Snatch Attempts During Competition: A Vector Coding Comparison of Elite and Sub-elite Weightlifters.” The dataset contains anonymized processed lower-limb kinematic time-series data from the maximal successful snatch attempt of each participant performed during official competition. The study included 20 male weightlifters in the 73-kg category, comprising 10 elite and 10 sub-elite athletes. The shared CSV file contains participant identifier, competitive group, joint pair, movement phase, normalized time, proximal joint angle, distal joint angle, and derived coupling angle. The data cover the sagittal-plane hip–knee, knee–ankle, and hip–ankle couplings across six time-normalized phases of the snatch. Participant identifiers have been anonymized, and no directly identifiable personal information or competition video recordings are included. These data are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analysis of the findings reported in the associated manuscript.
