In 2014, the Alsace Region, the Bas-Rhin General Council and the Haut-Rhin General Council acquired the IGN’s historic ortho product for the CIGAL partnership. The aerial photographs came from the first systematic coverage of the territory between 1950 and 64 by the IGN. These accurate and comprehensive data provide professionals and the public with a vision of the territory sixty years apart.
