The data were obtained from a project financed by the National Science Centre in the Miniatura 7 competition entitled "Intestinal organoids as a tool for analyzing host-microbiome interaction in chickens" at DEC-2023/07/X/NZ9/00241.The set includes published data and metadata obtained from three analyses:Results in the form of Ct values (threshold cycle) for two reference genes ACTB and GAPDH and nine studied genes related to immune response and intestinal barrier function. The method of obtaining results is RT-qPCR using the fluorescent dye SYBRgreen on the LightCycler 480II (Roche). The analysis was performed in material isolated from chicken intestinal organoids for three groups: control, group stimulated with sodium butyrate at a dose of 0.5mM (SB 0.5mM), group stimulated with sodium butyrate at a dose of 1mM (SB 1mM).Results of the number of copies per microliter of the target amplicon for the reference gene ACTB and seven study genes related to intestinal barrier function. The method of obtaining the results was RT-dPCR using the fluorescent dye EVAgreen on the QIAcuity One, 2plex Device (Qiagen). The analysis was performed in material isolated from chicken intestinal organoids for three groups: control, group stimulated with sodium butyrate at a dose of 0.5 mM (SB 0.5 mM), group stimulated with sodium butyrate at 1 mM (SB 1 mM).Results of colorimetric assay for histone deacetylase (HADC) activity in nuclear protein extract isolated from chicken organoids for three groups: control, group stimulated with sodium butyrate at a dose of 0.5 mM (SB 0.5 mM), group stimulated with sodium butyrate at 1 mM (SB 1 mM). The assay was performed on a Multiscan FC device (Invitrogen) using the SkanIt Software 7.0.2 RE for Microplate Readers RE, ver. 7.0.2.5. Absorbance reading was performed at a wavelength of 540 nm.
