Gene expression analysis of activated monocyte-derived macrophages (aMDM) in CD44 knock out conditions

Analysis of the transcriptome of human monocyte-derived macrophages activated with IFN-gamma and LPS, in CD44 knock out conditions Peripheral blood samples were collected from healthy donors and monocytes were sorted. Human primary monocytes were transfected with CAS9/CD44 sgRNA mix, and the following day, GM-CSF was added to the medium. After 5 days of differentiation, macrophages were activated with IFN-gamma (20 ng/mL) and LPS (100 ng/mL) during 24 hours.
