Etruscan oil vessel

A red terracotta black-glazed squat lekythos used to contain oil with a small footed base, a globular body with a curved shoulder, an applied loop handle, a narrow neck that tapers from a broad neck base, and a funnel mouth with flat rim. It bears no decoration. Gifted to Monash by Sir Louis Matheson. Object number: 127.059.
