Resource Utilization Among Non-Critical Emergency Department Visits at a Tertiary Urban Academic Hospital (RUSTED)

This dataset is derived from a retrospective cross-sectional study examining resource utilization patterns among non-critical patients presenting to the emergency department (ED) of an urban tertiary university hospital, from April to June 2022. It includes data on diagnostic tests, imaging, medical procedures, and medications, alongside the emergency department length of stay (ED LOS). The study highlights the association between resource usage and ED LOS, providing insights into optimizing resource allocation and enhancing operational efficiency in tertiary healthcare settings.
