Vuokatti master plan

The Vuokatti master plan, which has legal effect, indicates the intended use of the different areas of the urban area. The master plan describes areas intended for housing, services, workplaces, transport, recreation and protection. The master plan serves as a basis for more detailed planning. The Vuokatti master plan has been drawn up on the basis of the National Land Survey of Finland’s terrain database and border data. The municipal council of Sotkamo approved the Vuokatti master plan as two areas on 26 May 2003. Zone 1 includes the risk area of Vuokatti and part of the agglomeration and Division 2 includes the coastal area and the associated part of the agglomeration. The master plan became final in 2004 and 2006. The municipality of Sotkamo does not have a master plan for the whole municipality. The data is maintained in AutoCAD dwg format.
