Presence of the genus Dictyopteris (Dictyotales, Phaeophyta) in the western Indian Ocean between 1985 and 1999

Data on the presence of the genus <i>Dictyopteris</i> at different locations (Kenya, Seychelles, Tanzania, Mauritius, Socotra, South Africa, Egypt) in the western Indian Ocean. The dataset is based on herbarium material collected during expeditions conducted in 1985-1999. The data were digitized by VLIZ from the original report: De Smet, I. (2000).
