Certified but Unverified: Measuring the Verification Gap in Museum Antiquities Provenance

Replication archive for the working paper "Certified but Unverified: Measuring the Verification Gap in Museum Antiquities Provenance" (Tommy N. Turner). It contains the full 2,968-object corpus compiled from the public AAMD Object Registry; the Study 1 census coding (three blind coders, Krippendorff's alpha = 0.859); the Study 2 verification data, comprising an automated public-source corroboration pass over 52 anchors (7 strong-provenance controls and 45 flagged) and a six-coder human validation of the same anchors; the coding protocol and assignment map; per-anchor results with sources and notes; and the paper itself. All data derive from public records. Human coders are anonymized (coder1-6). See README.md for file-by-file documentation.
