Knowledge Regarding Universal Pension Scheme and its Associated Factors in Bangladesh

This project investigates the knowledge and acceptance of the Universal Pension Scheme (UPS) among potential pensioners in Bangladesh. Given the country's growing elderly population and the recent implementation of UPS, understanding public awareness and willingness to participate is crucial for its success. The study explores factors influencing pension knowledge and acceptance, considering socio-demographic characteristics. It highlights the challenges of low enrollment rates and the need for strategic interventions to enhance participation. Addressing this knowledge gap will contribute to effective policy implementation, ensuring long-term financial security for the aging population in Bangladesh.
