Patient-derived cancerous cell lines and non-cancerous cells are functionally characterized, i.e. by in vitro drug testing. Whole genome sequencing is performed to analyze the presence of cancer-specific alterations in cancer cell lines and normal cells. The whole genome sequencing data was used to determine genomic alterations or scores which can be associated with functional observations in the respective cell lines. Moreover, single cell genomics are provided to decipher the distribution of subtypes within the cancer cell lines.
