Last data update: March 17, 2025 Lake Simcoe Watershed DEM with 50 cm resolution. A Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a digital representation of the Earth's terrain surface, specifically depicting the bare ground elevation, excluding trees, buildings, and other surface features. This layer contains the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) at 50 cm resolution, covering the Lake Simcoe Watershed. It was created from combining data from the 2023 Kawartha DTM (source GeoHub), the 2023 York Region LiDAR geotiffs (source LSRCA), the OMAFRA2022 Lake Simcoe data (source LIO) and the 2023 Huron-Georgina Bay LiDAR tiles (source GeoHub).
