KorMedMCQA is the first multiple-choice question answering (MCQA) benchmark dataset derived from South Korean medical professional qualification examinations. It encompasses exam questions spanning 2012 to 2023, covering diverse subjects across physician, nurse, and pharmacist qualification exams. Officially released by the Korea Institute of Health Personnel Qualification Examinations, the dataset was constructed via systematic crawling of publicly accessible PDF exam materials, which guarantees the accuracy and completeness of the data. This dataset is designed to assess the performance of models in the South Korean medical context, specifically their ability to comprehend and handle Korea-specific medical knowledge and regulatory provisions.
