In this report, we applied pyrosequencing of the V1-V3 16S rRNA gene region to analyze the structure and diversity of bacterial community in boreal peatland sites, which varied in peat type and followed by persistant drainage. Equally, we evaluated the influence of peatland types and drainage on the bacterial communities in peatland forest.
