Supporting dataset for Figure 2: Volcano plots of significantly differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in sweet potato leaves under drought stress at different developmental stages. This dataset accompanies the article: **“Unveiling Stage-Specific Flavonoid Dynamics Underlying Drought Tolerance in Sweet Potato (*Ipomoea batatas* L.) via Integrative Transcriptomic and Metabolomic Analyses”** Figure 2 shows volcano plots from transcriptomic comparisons of sweet potato leaves under different drought treatments:- (a) CK vs. DS1 (drought during branching and tuber formation)- (b) CK vs. DS2 (drought during storage root expansion)- (c) DS1 vs. DS2 (developmental stage-specific response) Each plot visualizes log₂ fold change (x-axis) and −log₁₀(p-value) (y-axis), with thresholds set at |log₂FC| ≥ 1 and p < 0.05. Upregulated and downregulated genes are colored distinctly. Statistical annotations are embedded within each panel. ### This dataset includes:- Differential expression results for all three comparisons (T-CK1_vs_T-DS1.xlsx, T-CK1_vs_T-DS2.xlsx, T-DS1_vs_T-DS2.xlsx)- R script to generate individual and combined volcano plots (`Volcano_plots_transcriptomics_plot.R`)- Output figure (`Volcano_plots_transcriptomics_plot.pdf`)- Supplementary documentation (`README.md`) and license (`LICENSE`) This dataset enables full reproducibility of Figure 2 and facilitates public reuse in transcriptomic analysis of drought responses in sweet potato.
