Publicly available LiDAR and USDA NAIP imagery were used in a geospatial modeling framework to develop a high resolution (0.762 m, or 2.5 feet) land cover dataset for the East Fork Poplar Creek watershed in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Five classes of land cover (open water, impervious surface, forest, shrub/scrub, and grassland) were mapped at a sub-meter resolution, with an overall classification accuracy of 0.925.
