The Ethnic Identity of Ukrainian Students (the Case of Lviv Region)

Our research is aimed at verifying the structural components of the ethnic identity, the level of their expression and the main determinants of its transformation. Our assumptions were confirmed and proved that the surveyed students demonstrated a low and below average level of ethno-nihilism, as well as low and medium levels of ethno-isolation. This study, conducted before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, is retrospective on the one hand, while on the other hand it opens wide prospects for further empirical research. Conducting a comparative analysis will not only diagnose war-related changes in the ethnic identity, but will also serve as a basis for future educational and psycho-correctional work.
